Thank you all for joining us for a pre Saint Patrick’s Day party at Alaska’s newest stage and venue, The Crystal Saloon. The night started off with a surprise visit from the City of Juneau Pipe Band on their annual pub crawl. They marched out of the Crystal playing “High Road to Gairloch” which happened to be the first song in our set! Fire on McGinnis loves it when people dance and we were not disappointed. Our music lends itself to any kind of dancing whether it’s just groovin’, jumping up and down, fairly circles or swing dancing. We don’t much care as long as people are having fun.
None of this would have happened without the good folks at The Crystal Saloon. Especially David Elrod who did most of the coordinating, socials, posters etc. and Axel Gillam who easily pulled off the sound for us and even let us use some of his vintage microphones! -FOM
